Thank you for visiting my site and I hope you enjoyed the “home” page article. Self-Care is a concept that I became connected with about 3 years ago when I began my entrepreneurial journey as an independent consultant for the Warm Spirit line of products. The urge to seek something more out of practicing medicine prompted me to embrace a new way of taking care of myself and of others. My eyes were opened as I saw more and more women suffering from a variety of health problems and writing prescriptions and doing surgery just seemed too much along the lines of what my dad used to say as we grew up, “closing the barn door after the horse got out”…or something like that! You get the picture. Was health care all about fixing problems? Or would I be able to have a greater impact if I incorporated preventive education.
That’s when I started to educate myself on natural products, herbs, essential oils, etc. and found that there is definitely something to be valued in helping the body heal itself. There is a preponderance of evidence that much of our unhealthy state is directly related to lifestyle practices and stress.
You know, our bodies were meant to function as a system to repair and heal itself. The problem is that we put things in our bodies, on our bodies and don’t do what is beneficial to our bodies and then we wonder why the body is breaking down. Now, I am no expert in natural medicine but I have taken it upon myself to be more conscious of how lifestyle changes and disciplines can truly benefit our minds, bodies and overall state of well being. I also read once, forgive me I don’t remember the author, that truly life ‘balance’ is not so much about balancing all the aspects of our lives: financial, physical, emotional, career, relationship, etc. but rather keeping the spiritual first and the rest will balance out. I have grown to truly embrace that because no matter what, when I have kept my spiritual health first and foremost I have received the wisdom and guidance to make the right decisions to balance the rest out.
But you MUST not ignore the fact that we are triune and need to be attentive to i.e., not ignore our body and its nutritional and physical needs as well as to our mental and emotional care.
Take a look at the product links that I have provided. I share organic, nature-based products with essential oils that are truly wonderful pampering experiences for your personal “Me Time”. They are from Warm Spirit and from a new company, Soul Purpose Lifestyle Company- fabulous scents and indulgences that are paraben free. I also believe in taking care of yourself on the inside and there are a couple of products, “Restore” made by Warm Spirit and “Monavie”, a powerful and delicious antioxidant juice. For those of you who would like to try a potent liquid vitamin for better absorption, I have also shared “GBG 10-in-One”. Taking these products have truly made a difference in my overall health, energy, vitality as well as the ‘health’ of my skin and hair. I encourage you to educate yourself and make a decision toward better health.
My personal mission that I pursue with passion is to serve the Lord through a Wellness Ministry that impacts the lives of women by teaching them to value themselves and create a lifestyle of balance, wholeness and prosperity enabling them to Stay Healthy, Reduce Stress and Grow Spiritually.
